Though the Lord is high, yet he has respect to every lowly, humbled sinner; but the proud and unbelieving will be banished far from his blissful presence. Divine consolations have enough in them to revive us, even when we walk in the midst of troubles.

And God will save his own people that they may be revived by the Holy Spirit, the Giver of life and holiness.

If we give to God the glory of his mercy, we may take to ourselves the comfort. This confidence will not do away, but quicken prayer.

Whatever good there is in us, it is God works in us both to will and to do. The Lord will perfect the salvation of every true believer, and he will never forsake those whom he has created anew in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Friday's Feast #1 for me

My Granddaughter, Addy - pink is her favorite color, My friend, Phyllis - pink is also her favorite color and Ballerinas

Soup
Name something you thought you had lost, but later found.
This past Christmas I put together gifts for each of my family members to be given to them from my Mom (who was not able to do the gifts by herself this year). I bought frames, matted for three separate 5 x 7 pictures, for each of my Mother's six children and had the pictures in mind that I wanted to put into each frame. The pictures were - a current picture of my Mom, taken right before Christmas, a copy of the last picture my Mom and Dad had done together and a picture of my Mom and Dad at the time they married at age 16 and 22, respectively. I thought that I had lost the early picture of them and looked for days before I finally found it! I was so relieved to find the picture and was able to finish the gifts in time for Christmas!

Salad
In 3 words, describe this past week.
Reflective, Quiet and Peaceful

  1. This was a fun feast huh?
I hate losing things, I am usually looking for things Matt has lost, then he finds it in his pocket or car :)
I've never smelled those fragrances or even heard of them before! Makes me curious to smell them.
    Have a blessed Friday Ann!

  4. "Amazing Grace and Falling In Love both by Philosophy"

As I read that, I heard all three songs! Ok, so I cheated a bit with "When Did You Fall in Love," but still, pretty cool.

Not that my comment will make sense after I finish my coffee....
