Though the Lord is high, yet he has respect to every lowly, humbled sinner; but the proud and unbelieving will be banished far from his blissful presence. Divine consolations have enough in them to revive us, even when we walk in the midst of troubles.

And God will save his own people that they may be revived by the Holy Spirit, the Giver of life and holiness.

If we give to God the glory of his mercy, we may take to ourselves the comfort. This confidence will not do away, but quicken prayer.

Whatever good there is in us, it is God works in us both to will and to do. The Lord will perfect the salvation of every true believer, and he will never forsake those whom he has created anew in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Favorite Foto Friday - FAVORITE Foto 2008

This week's FFF theme was to choose your ONE
favorite photo of 2008.

I chose this photo of my husband, Jody and me. It was taken last Saturday and it is one of my favorites because it shows us together! We are back together after separating earlier this year and we are learning so much about each other - through counseling and by opening up to each other. We are choosing to be together, to be honest about everything that has transpired - causing our separation and everything that happened during the separation.
We now know, with certainty, that we can not make our marriage succeed without giving it over to God and allowing Him through His Word to lead us. I think this picture shows our joy over being together again.

Good for you guys!!!! Almost four years ago I had asked my husband for a divorce, thankfully he suggested counseling...it saved our marriage and my life ;). I can't believe that I had been so willing to just walk away from someone who loved me so much ;)

  7. I too like this picture of you and your husband. My heart sings for joy at the thought of you two working things out. I'm so glad to hear that you are turning to God's Word as your guideline in your relationship. It will clearly show you the right path to walk along.

Be blessed my friend and I pray that God will bless you and husband with many joyful days this year.
